OT: Stadium Shade

Some friends and I were talking about a hot topic (pun intended): shade for the bounce house. Is it even reasonably possible? To provide significant Shands for a fair portion of the crowd how realistic is that? Then cascade of items that may have to be altered or significantly changed to provide shade could include lighting, Jumbotron changes, sound systems, engineering, and sight lines were just a few items that came up. Is it even possible based on our configuration?

GAME 9: UCF @ Memphis, Sims results and Predictions

11/3/2022 Memphis Edition:

Let's recap the Cinci game...

EXCELLENT. ECU was a puzzle to me...there was consistency forming and it seemingly fell apart for ECU.

I still felt UCF could win at home against Cinci, and Julian and I were pretty close on our predictions. The final was 25-21, Julian predicted low with 20-17, and I predicted higher with 31-28. We both were close on the spread at -3, and the final spread was -4. Well done I feel...

Onto the Beale-Street Bengals...(Memphis)

----
Memphis Tigers Fun-Facts:

The University, similar to UCF, went through a name change from Memphis State University to University of Memphis as many know in 1994, but the school STARTED as West Tennessee State Normal School as a Teachers college in 1912.

Memphis awards about 3000 Doctorates annually.

The colors blue and grey were chosen as school colors to commemorate the "nation coming back together" after the civil war. Both colors represent the primary colors of both opposing armies in the Civil War.

MK at QB question for the smart folks...

So I've re-watched the game which allows me to focus on the lines and away from ball performance. Still have no idea what I'm seeing...;)
I appreciate that a typical issue with young QB's is learning to go through your progressions. So I spent some time trying to see if MK was looking defenders off. It seemed he was not, but I don't trust I know what I'm looking for. It appeared he was targeting his primary and making a quick good throw. So was it just that his primary was always open so he didn't have to go through progressions or was he just not going through them. Was it just good scheming by Gus?

Don't get me wrong, I think he did great and the OL gave great protection. Memphis is going to send the dogs, you can be sure of that. Does that mean quick read slants etc..

Thanks in advance...

RIP Ray Guy

Great career. Consistently considered the greatest punter of all time. First pure punter to be drafted in the first round and first punter enshrined in the NFL HOF. Famously quoting in his acceptance speech "now the HOF has a complete team."

His first five years with the raiders he was their kicker and was their emergency QB throughout his career.

He was known for consistently have lengthy hang times where the kicking team could have caught the ball almost as easily as the return time.
