1,000 lb blue fin caught on 22 ft Grady

I like to fish when I can . I have a 22 foot Grady White Walk-around boat . This is a great catch by a guy and his son with a similar boat to mine, it's their dual console version. They boated a 10 foot 1,000 pound tuna.

Had to be a great day for them. I used to fish a lot, always was a great time out with the kids, and put a lot of food on the table as well.

I have 3 kids. My oldest is my daughter while she likes to boat and fish, she is 24 and moody . lol. My middle kid is disabled , severely disabled and he loves the boat . it's why we have a boat. my youngest soon turns 20. For the past 10 years I have done a father son fishing trip usually visiting my brother in Titusville. We have friends in Key Largo and this year's adventure is father son adventure there. We go to the Keys a lot. I have watched my son grow into a man and he is great fishing mate . He knows what to do and we have a good crew now. I got a a fishing buddy in Deland who has been making these adventures with me and his kid too. I hope to be 70 or 80 still going on our annual trip together. biggest fish I have ever caught is a 45 pound dolphin ( mahi) . Those guys had a catch of a lifetime .

I hope they have a giant freezer. 4-500 lbs of meat is a lot. I hope the kid ate the heart and eyeballs to prove he is a man. Too bad they can’t sell it.
