#1 rated PK in the 2023 class by Kohl's. That's significant and adds to our Aussie P...
Can hit consistently from 50+ 😎
Hopefully can be a nice weapon in some close BIG XII games.
I still like Colton Boomer. Should be a good competition upcoming.
Obarski and Osteen are both seniors this year so it’s a good situation for Boomer to get broken in.
Both Reddick and Boomer can punt and kick so let them battle it out and one gets the punter job and the other is the kicker.
Reddick sounds like the real deal though, saw pics of him with Nick Saban in his office. I’m sure he doesn’t hang out with average K prospects.
Boomer was unranked by Kohls. Obarski was ranked #23 in the country by Kohl’s. If you actually look at Obarski’s high school numbers, he kicked several 50 yard field goals. Not sure what happened to him at UCF.Better than Boomer? Better than that O kid? (sry anyone is better than that guy)
After watching Boomer in the Spring game, he'll need to improve his skills. If Reddick is as good as projected, Boomer has to get better if he wants to compete for the K job. Neither will beat out the Aussie P but the question on him is how long does he stick around before trying the next level? One thing for sure, Gus is trying hard to improve ST's.Obarski and Osteen are both seniors this year so it’s a good situation for Boomer to get broken in.

Kohls didn’t rank him because he didn’t go to their camps. He went to Cornblue who announced him a 5 star. All of them only rank kids that pay them money. Not much stock in their rankings.Boomer was unranked by Kohls. Obarski was ranked #23 in the country by Kohl’s. You are correct on Mitch McCarthy. That dude is in his mid 20s. He has to play now. My heart goes out to Andrew Osteen. He has really improved his game, is on the Ray Guy Award list, and may not even start. After watching Boomer in the Spring game, he'll need to improve his skills. Obarfski did not do well last year at all. Just sayinObarski and Osteen are both seniors this year so it’s a good situation for Boomer to get broken in.

Matt Wright was so good for us. Now I cringe at every extra point try.Remember when extra points and field goals less than 40 yrds were just givens. Yeah, miss those days.
We had a couple aolid years with matthew wright and then that left footed kickersRemember when extra points and field goals less than 40 yrds were just givens. Yeah, miss those days.
That Kohl’s Kicking bio say he consistently makes 60 year FG’s, and can make from 65 with a little tailwind. This guy can be a major game changer. Highly touted high school kickers are very hit and or miss. I hope this guy‘s a hit.

Can u imagine holding a lead of 7 against someone like cincy. They just make a big defensive stop at our 40 and we bring this kid out to drill a 57 yarder to ice the game. This could drastically change our special teams playThat Kohl’s Kicking bio say he consistently makes 60 year FG’s, and can make from 65 with a little tailwind. This guy can be a major game changer. He’s only made 1 FG in his career at Boone. That Kohl’s Kicking bio say he consistently makes 60 year FG’s, and can make from 65 with a little tailwind. This guy can be a major game changer. Highly touted high school kickers are very hit and or miss. I hope this guy‘s a hit.

Okay…. So he only made 1 field goal, but he made 2 solo tackles. That’s gotta be the reason for the scholarship, right? He’s only made 1 FG in his career at Boone.

Because he paid Kohls money to go to their camps and they say he’s great. I’m assuming Boone had another kicker. I think he went to some D3 school but he couldn’t beat that kid out.Little confused 🫤. Total career FGs: 1, 4 PATs. How does that get you rated as the #1 kicker in the country? Why all the press?
This is true and it's why Colton Boomer walked on at UCF last season.Because he paid Kohls money to go to their camps and they say he’s great. I’m assuming Boone had another kicker. I think he went to some D3 school but he couldn’t beat that kid out.
Looks like we will be going for it on 4th down anytime we cross the 50Here we go..........Yesterday ....The senior Obarski went 5 of 7 with reporters watching, missing two from 40 and 35 yards. The miss from 40 bounced off the left side of the goal post.

Tons. These recruits are told they won't be successful unless they go to a P5 school. Even if that P5 school is terrible they still view it as better than a G5 school.“You are going into the likes of the Power 5. Nothing wrong with the American (Athletic) Conference. It’s still big names, but when you go into that Power 5 level, it’s a little bit different.”…….
Geeesh….I wonder how many players we lost to P5 schools over the years after a subtle comment like that?
