10 Things The Next UCF Football Coach Should Do

With the exceptions of 6 and 7 this is the wishlist of almost every college football program in the country looking for a coach. I wish all of it was as simple as portrayed. they should add...

11. Raise lots of money from wealthy donors
12. Start new gameday traditions.

Besides win, which will cure all of this, the most important thing for a UCF coach to do is to find a way to get students involved. If UCF has any asset it is the connection between the students and the football team. All of those students are future alumni. Even if you don't win, make the game day atmosphere fun.

Also, maybe its because I been graduated since 05, but do we ever have a rally before a big game anymore? I remember the post season one for the Fiesta Bowl.

For #8 In 2013 we had a "black out" advertised and printed on our season tickets and GOL wore gold jerseys (it was a night game). 100% agree on making the fan/student connection with the next coach/AD.

That was so F'ed up. He would do things like that just to mess with people.

Those helmets were sold right after too and that was the end of any kind of alternative helmet (and we won lol).

I remember that there was so much excitement about the helmets. Brandon leaked it, fans and players were pumped but GOL killed all of that.

I think GOL is actually Grumpy Cat:

If there is anything that the anti-GOL crowd say that I can agree with is that it was stupid not to have fun with the uniforms. Also that the Gold on White really sucks.
