I was there and had fun, so I don't care. The real fans showed up.
Exactly! I did my good deed for the year. I took the opportunity of the more relaxed atmosphere to bring my mom who's 82. We parked at 10-10:30, took pictures with Knightro and watched and walked with the band. I carried and drank 2, 24 ounce Coors Lights the whole way and arrived inside the stadium at 11:30. Took advantage of the water station around section 109 at halftime.Yeah screw them! I'm with you Mike. I was there and had a great time. Nothing like drinking beer at 10am. We left with like a minute to go and I was home by 4:15, and I live in Brevard.
Go Knights!
"Ignored Member" I wonder which troll stopped by to say "Hi". I bet he is the one that dreams that he went to UCF.
Piece of place?????Who would want to go to that diploma mill? It is a useless piece of place outside of central Florida.
Oh yeah. Which one? Your posts don't reflect intelligence or success Your beloved college didn't do anything for you.Got a degree from a university that is more respected academically and athletically.
Now that's not fair. An EE grad means you are really smart (and super employable). However, the starting salary in engineering often goes with depreciating value by your mid-30s, and employers may opt for new grads (but you can always get your MBA in the evening and get great management jobs). The other high-paying majors you can count on one hand: accounting, nursing, and computer science. Any other major pretty much starts grads at the same salary. UF has the stronger statewide job network, but UCF now owns the Orlando jobs market. But out of state, the top career paths go to those who can draw upon the network of a top private school (or at least a well-know and selective state university like UMichigan, UNC, etc.).Unless someone goes to one of the very top universities like MIT or Harvard, the degree you pick is vastly more important than the university's "academic prowess". I chose electrical engineering and make more than my friends who went to UF and studied useless stuff. Even with the same degree, you can get better jobs out of college with gpa, internships, etc.
