Only in the CFP poll can you lose one game and tumble out of the Top 25. Houston shouldve never fallen that far. They lost because they played with their back up on the dump of a field in November on the last drive. its not like our conference sucks. We're 8-11 against the P5 and only two losses against the G5.
With houstons performance today and a AAC championship next week I hope they can jump into that big 6 bowl game. UCF could use the money
The CFP cant be that dumb to knock Navy out of the Top 25 for losing to a one loss unranked team.* Worse case scenario, Toledo is losing to Western Michigan right now so we probably got the NY6 locked up and the extra five million for being the best of the G5.
They are pretty much the only game in town . NIU choked, giving Toledo a window to maybe pick up that spot but they are going to lose to Western Michigan today. That leaves Navy, Temple, and Houston all hanging around the 20s. Houston should obviously get the nod over Navy. The winner of the Houston/Temple game should get the spot (assuming Temple wins tomorrow night).
The MAC West is kind of crazy. At least 3 teams will end up 6-2 as of today, and if CMU beats ECU then 4 teams would finish 6-2. I'm not even going to try and figure out how that gets settled but it's pretty crazy.

Unless USF or Uconn win. That's the only way this season could get worse is if USF got a conf championship out of it.
