3 victims isn't a mass shooting. That's the average drive by in Chicago. Nice propaganda though Whatachart.

"The states with the strictest gun laws have the least amount of gun crimes." Roflroflroflroflroflroflfoflroroflforlfroflrofl why does President Bozo always ignore his policy in his home city? Show us your draconian laws can work in your war zone city before you try and ruin the rest of the country. What a lying dumb fuk POS.

At this point we don't need laws. We may need a massive gun buy program ala Australia. Whatever achieved A drastically smaller supply.

But that would cause Civil War II

They seem to happen primarily in blue nanny states. Washington, Colorado, California, Virginia, Connecticut, DC, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota. Huh, that has to be a coincidence and nothing to do with mental health and gun policy of liberals...

When will you ****ing loons admit we have a problem? Banning guns won't help, obviously. We have a serious culture issue in this nation that we allowed to happen years ago and now can't escape from. But keep making your lame "ban cars" jokes, because joking about people getting pumped full of lead is helping us a lot. Kudos.*

It would seem we are in the middle of a mental health crisis. I think we need to expand mental health facilities across the nation. But that's a lot of work and its easier to just say you passed some laws. America no longer wants to do what's right, it only wants to take the easy route.

I'll admit we have a problem when something other than trumped up stats for the purpose of selling the drama says we do.

Until then keep up watching the talmudvision, being a reactionary cvnt & most importantly believe disarming responsible law abiding citizens will do anything to stop psychos.

You can expand the facilities but people also have to want to get help. I'm not sure all of these people would fit the definition of having a mental illness anyway. That's just what these individuals are being tagged with. If he was Muslim or black they wouldn't be referring to it as a mental illness problem.

I actually had a conversation about this with a county sheriff medical director earlier this week. It was a blow when the state mental facilities were closed. Then to add, they don't really encourage mental health treatment in the jails and prisons. If he wants to get treatment for an inmate for depression, he has to list it as the second symptom on their chart. If the mental health issue is the first or only symptom, he gets a much smaller funding percentage for treatment.

Why is it when there is an emergency situation, buildings go on "Lock-down"? Why don't they go on "open-up" so people can try to save themselves by RUNNING from danger and not cowering in a room behind a locked door? I never understood this.

Stop enforcing "emergency lock-downs" in government buildings and universities. "Open UP" is a better philosophy; people can have a chance to run from danger. WHO CARES about locking in the bad guy? They have cameras and technology now to find him or her and they always do. "Lock-downs" are very counter-intuitive and falsely imprison potential victims against their will.

Well...and we have a religious extremism problem too and it is about to get MUCH worse with unchecked immigration.

I believe in mental health checks for firearms. It does NOT infringe on a sane person's rights as people with mental handicaps already operate and live with an abridged set of rights. They are prevented from driving, operating most machinery, I don't think it is a far cry to allow for background checks with weapons as long as it is reasonable. Having depression because of a recent break-up would not suffice as a "mental handicap"...for example.

this makes the assumpion these people have medical mental problems. Being 'full of hate and able to obtain a firearm' isn't a medical disability.

Why couldnt the mental health facilities have a place where you can check in to see a psychiatrist? Maybe help work through those anger issues.

Hell maybe even part of that care could be paid for by Obamacare.

Less supply. But we are unfortunately well past that
Less supply of what? How do you differentiate the deranged from the sane in determining who this shortened supply goes to? Or is it less supply in a first-come-first-serve market? Because that's what we have right now, in case you didn't know.

You know there was a report this week about England having some 1.8M guns and growing despite all their laws. Oh and they were able to stop a teen from committing a mass shooting. He somehow managed to find some guns. Some how it seems people determined to do bad things find a way.

It's like bad people don't respect laws and regulations or something.

Weird.*
