Following them killing 20 in Bangladesh, followed by them killing nearly 50 in Istanbul.

All in one week!

Yet I see no cutesy Facebook filters, messages, or shirts being sold in the wake of these killings.

I guess exerting a concern about terrorism only extends to when white people are killed west of Poland.

Who cares? As long as it's not in Mrrrka, let them kill each other all they want.

Why don't you apply this same logic to all laws?
I do. Most laws are written with the intention of controlling behavior through punishment. Therefore, most laws get broken because more often than not, people think they can get away with it. That's not to say we shouldn't have laws, but the thinking that they will have the 100% desired result is not realistic.

So you agree theirs benefit to having them, just not in regards to guns?

I think having a ban on guns at a state or municipality level in this country is spinning your wheels because there's far too much access to guns external to those entities, and at this point having one on a Federal level is probably too impractical and unconstitutional. I don't advocate for bans on guns at all, but I still don't own one or want to own one. I just don't think there's a rational justification for owning one other than "they're cool/fun or I like to shoot/hunt" none of which I subscribe to at the moment. I wouldn't infringe on the rights of others to own one, though, even if they choose to rationalize having it with some other false pretense.

BTK and I killed some plates and cans this weekend. Neither of us, nor the people with us were killed or committed a felony. It is a wonder we're alive considering we had LOADED assault pistols.

Especially your 15 round clips. I almost shit myself when you pulled those out. Those can definitely go on a killing spree. My 10 round clips are as safe as a kitten.

Muslims are so nice. Just don't believe in another regilion, be female, or gay and you're fine. Also stay away from soft targets.

That's it my little checkers players, it's those evil Muzzies. Don't think who benefits by going after them, just repeat: "Assad must go. Putin is bad. NBA is good. White people bad."

I didn't say anything about banning guns. I'm just trying to understand the view that tougher laws are fine for everything except guns.

Not just guns but anything that is constitutionally protected. And do you really think a terrorist is going to think twice about slaughtering people because of a gun law?

What? The laws on those items weren't created based on whether people would follow them? At least that wasn't stated at the time of their creation.

How about alcohol? Those laws weren't created based on whether people would follow them either

Sounds like you want to bring back prohibition
