I count 28 current juniors/ 2017 graduating Seniors for UCF football. That's a pretty large # to depart at once but also a good opportunity for Frost to remake the roster. What are the biggest needs for him to focus on in the 2017 class?

Obviously this thread requires some projections about the performance of the 2016 class, injuries, etc. So, of course, all should feel free to make whatever forecasts they like based on currently available information on recruits, etc.

Just looks like we hardly have any DTs on the roster. Especially in the underclassmen. I think we have only brought one in in the last two classes. I hope all stay healthy at that position this season.

1.) D-line is still a work in progress.
2.) Speed guys at WR and RB.
3.) Another QB.
4.) Remaking of the OL, LB and DB corp, as that will be 2018 priority.

Sounds like everything is needed. A well rounded class to fit his system

Yes, OL/DL will be key every year...and I think with a full year under his belt, Frost will probably sign 2 QB's in his first full class of 25 recruits.

In a 3/4 defense...LB's will carry a large weight so multiple LB's will be signed too.

Skill players will always be of need (RB/WR/TE/DB).

Good news is that this will be UCF's first full class (25 recruits) in 5 years now that scholarship sanctions and max limits will be removed.

Hopefully, next year's class will have a greater % of HS recruits (vs JUCO's) as UCF needs to start building up REDSHIRT Depth...something the scholarships sanctions (and then injuries) robbed the program of especially last year.
