I’m not ready for all the bs that goes with elections yet . Not sure about Kasich . Not sure who I want to see to be truthful .
It'll be a tremendous nominee, folks, believe me, it'll be President Drumpf! Haters gonna hate. Tho if they did nominate some insufferable cuck like Sasse or Kucsich at least I get to vote Libertarian in the general.
Sasse won't run in 2020 but I could definitely see it in 2024. He's a really intelligent, well spoken, and principled politician.
I'd love to see a Paul-Sasse ticket and don't care at all who's on the top.
I have been a life-long NPA, but just this morning I changed to Republican for strategic reasons. Bring on the Primary!

No way in heck she gets through the primary. The dems will go for charisma and try to find the furthest left leaning minority candidate they can get.

The reign of the GOP is over, just like the Federalists. The MSM is pro-Democratic party, just like they were Jeffersonian Republicans (retroactively now called the Democrat[ic-Republican] party). Too many Boomers are dying off.
The GOP screwed up when they nix'd Gary Johnson from the 2nd primary debate on CNN in 2012. That was it. They may not be able to use superdelegates to keep a candidate out, but they can sure kick a candidate out, even when he's polling better than others who are still invited, to their debates.
When the GOP embraces the Libertarian party, things will change. Until then, forget it.
After 3-4 straight Democratic administrations, you will see a huge backlash against their authoritative, special interest agenda, which is about big business just as much as the Republicans. After all, the Democrats aren't actually interested in immigration, but work visas and other things. Same goes for the environment and healthcare. Even my European friends who are knowledable about politics point that out -- we're headed down the UK route, which is what much of the EU can point to as failures in both.
I don't know where it starts, but I think Classic Liberals and Libertarians will join forces against the Progressives who have a 'war on thought' just as much as the Religious Right. That's why I call Progressivism a "blind faith church," it's a religion, one devoid of science as much as the far-right agenda.

That's the difference between Libertarians like myself who don't want Trump in a second term (yep, I don't, but that's another topic), and the Clinton-Media-Progressive engine.
We Libertarians know the economics of the last 35 years cannot last, and don't blame Trump alone, far from it.
The Clinton-Media-Progressive engine survives on the timing of crashes -- and even try to attribute the recession that hit in the 2 months of W.'s presidency as his, and not Clintons.
But I agree with Ron Paul, this one is going to be the worst. We just don't know when it will happen.
I used to believe that as well, that we have a currency bubble and it will pop because we are continuing down the same road and making it worse. Now I see it as a 50-50 proposition, but I dont see any way it happens in the next 2 years.
