2023 Spring Roster is out

More concerned about LB. Our whole dline is back from last year hopefully they get to open it a little more.

Same, but interested to see if Brandon Jennings can be that guy and make the LB room way better. He’s got a ton of talent. I didn’t know Jason Johnson had another year of eligibility, that’s huge. Looks like Walter Yates is back as well, Kam Moore with a year under helps too.

My concern are mostly with the new OC/DC play calling. Position groups I’m concerned with are OL and DBs. They both had a lot transfers in and out, could be solid. The DB group could be greatly improved, I mean they can’t be much worse. Hoping Addison calls some better plays, more pressure.

DL could make a major mark in UCF's first season in Big 12...

[The Knights' top recruit John Walker already has some practice experience under his belt, joining the team in time for Military Bowl preparations in late December as he officially signed his letter of intent. He impressed in those brief glimpses, no surprise given his pedigree and consistent level of dominance at nearby Osceola High in Kissimmee.

"He could have went anywhere he wanted," Malzahn said on the first day of the early signing period. "There was some schools that really came after him — like hard with a capital 'H', hard — but he stuck with us. This guy's going to be a great player for us."

Walker should immediately contribute for the Knights along the defensive line, potentially forming a talented three-man interior tandem with Ricky Barber and Lee Hunter. Returning starters Tre'mon Morris-Brash and Josh Celiscar are locked in at the edge-rushing spots.]

Have to agree with this feel the dline could be the strong point of this defense depending on play calls and if Williams let's them just get after it. Dline has alot of years and games behind them add Walker and Nixon in the mix with the other youngsters in Johnson and McDaniel if all stay healthy could be dangerous

Still too many d*mn

I can think of three off the top of my head.

This roster is in desperate need of a game-breaking true slot receiver, two quality linebackers, and a impact rush end.
