Gov DeSantis also suspended the County Education Superintendent in NW FL following her dereliction of duty following a case of child abuse on a special needs child while the County tried to cover up the teacher's actions. Action also follows 2 Grand Jury reports that basically noted the same and while the teacher was convicted of her crimes, Grand Jury did not charge the Superintendent criminally.

Here's some great words from the chosen replacement by the Gov for Broward County Sheriff, as he named Coral Springs Sgt Greggory Tony, the first ever African American Sheriff for Broward County...who says he is a COP first and NOT a politician (which was exactly former Sheriff's Israel's desire...and sadly, the same for every Orlando Police Chief and Orange County Sheriff in recent years...as ALL want to be and some have become full time politicians and view their position as almost nothing to do with law enforcement).
