3 Scholarships left. Where do you want them to go??

LB, QB and maybe best available athlete regardless of position?? Preferably someone with a few years left.

OK, I'll bite....LB and 2 QBs

Sad that there aren't any good QB options in the portal. So maybe substitute an OL and DE where there are options there.

UCF needs a LB or two (there are several Florida guys in the portal) a versatile DL (capable of playing DT or DE -like Jeffery M'Ba-type), and free safety.

A versatile underclass offensive lineman would be a blessing if one comes available provided any of the other positions are a no go.

I want the LB from Georgia. And nobody else from the portal at the moment, want to wait another month or two to see who hits it.

I don't know why UCF doesn't pursue S Antonio Carter III of Oak Ridge HS (Orlando, Fla.)

After losing Christian Leary to Georgia Tech, I can see the Knights taking a chance on uat slot Tyler Harrell of Christopher Columbus HS or Texas slot Jaden Alexis of Pompano Beach HS.

Harrell, who was offered by Scott Frost in 2017, posseses truly ELITE speed. At the Louisville pro day, he was hand-timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.19 seconds and officially clocked at 4.24. The record at the NFL combine is 4.22. In high school, he turned in a 10.54 to win the 100 and a 20.83 to win the 200 for Class 4A in Florida in 2018.

Alexis is the son of Rich Alexis, a former NFL running back that played with the Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars and the St. Louis Rams. He is not as fast as Harrell, but he is super strong and has excellent acceleration after the catch.

Not that there is a need to add an outside receiver, but another player to watch is Florida's leading returner at wide receiver Xzavier Henderson, who jumped in the portal today. Henderson, also of Christopher Columbus HS, is especially attractive because he returned kickoffs and punts for the last two years. As you know, UCF already has two former gator receivers in the two deep and snagged Florida's starting tight end last year. Definitely something to track.
