Think about it. The final 32 seconds of UCF's game with Temple. They had a huge impact on UCF's season.

If Temple had not traveled 70 yards in 32 seconds to score a TD with 1 second left in the game, UCF would be playing USF for the AAC division championship this week. Even with the loss to Tulsa they would be tied for second place with Temple at 5-2, and own the tie-breaker with Temple. They would be heading to 6-1 USF with their 5-2 division record and be playing for the Division championship.

If UCF somehow beats USF this week, then IMO, those 32 seconds will live in infamy!

:scream:

Last August, the UCF fantasy campers had a 10-minute office call with SF. During that visit, I brought up the subject of the prevent defense. I told coach Frost how it only prevents you from winning...that it should be avoided at all costs. Ironically, UCF used a prevent defense during those 32 seconds.

Coach Frost is a very good HC, but he is young and is still learning. He needs to learn to respect the wisdom of his fantasy campers! Fantasy campers are there to help!

:D

It wasn't the last 32 seconds at Temple. It was the horrible play calling that has littered almost every game this year. Maybe Frost is a good coach, but he hasn't shown it on the field. I'll just have to take your word for it.

Did you see what this team looked like last year or last spring compared to what they look like now? The play calling would appear to be fine with better play by the O-line and QBs.

We saw great effort and enthusiasm by this team in every game. The players enjoyed playing the game of football this year. That is the main thing, and I'd say that has to do with good coaching.

The receivers don't seem to be enjoying it. They seem to be getting more and more frustrated with every shot to the ribs they take due to jumping up for a wobbly sailing pass that ends up going over their heads anyway.

Any receiving recruits have to be wondering if they want to take those shots for the next three years. It is obvious SF and MM are going to be here a while.

Yeah, he's a good motivator. He inherited an extremely talented defense and they've been run ragged by an offensive style that can't control the clock or score. Him constantly trotting out Milton, no matter how bad he plays is frustrating and seems silly. Like said, maybe he's a good coach, I just haven't seen it yet.

Yeah, I'm at a loss for the Milton love. He wasn't recruited by Oregon like many have said. SF scouted him while he was at Oregon, but ultimately Origin didn't think he was good enough to extend an offer.

There is something to be said about loyalty, but loyalty should run out when the guy is just not improving.

Yes, sticking with Milton is a bit puzzling. But folks complain when Holman is in there, too.

Bottom line: Could Urban Meyer or Nick Saban have done any better with this team? In 11 games Coach Frost has 6 wins and 3 very close losses. Myself, I don't think so.

Don't forget...before the season began, UCF was picked to finish last in the AAC. UCF improved much more than expected. That is a sign of good coaching. The entire UCF coaching staff deserves credit.

Nice read. Yes, Temple last minute ripped our hearts out. But, I think that was a learning tool. 2016 year is just about over. Woulda Coulda Shoulda...I like that we have 6 wins. Not expecting to be beat USF. But, like the direction of the program. 2017 should/could/will be better! Go Knights!
