You saw that right. The "-" was not a typo. Against a terrible Tulane rushing defense, we managed to get negative yardage to the tune of -35 yards on the ground. This same Tulane team was giving up around 250 yards rushing per game coming into today. Even with sacks counting as negative yardage, this number is staggering for a program that is supposed to emphasize hard-nosed defense and running of the football. It's an epic failure of one of the core things a GOL-led team is supposed to do. After a decade of molding the program in his image, something is terribly, terribly, wrong with GOL's football team when they can't get positive yardage on the ground.
