You saw that right. The "-" was not a typo. Against a terrible Tulane rushing defense, we managed to get negative yardage to the tune of -35 yards on the ground. This same Tulane team was giving up around 250 yards rushing per game coming into today. Even with sacks counting as negative yardage, this number is staggering for a program that is supposed to emphasize hard-nosed defense and running of the football. It's an epic failure of one of the core things a GOL-led team is supposed to do. After a decade of molding the program in his image, something is terribly, terribly, wrong with GOL's football team when they can't get positive yardage on the ground.

232 rushing yards total so far this year and 131 of that was against FIU. 81 yards over the last 4 games and -11 over the last 2. It's hard to believe but we're actually getting worse as the season goes on

Didn't Kevin Smith run for 320 yards once in a game in 2007? He will have run for more yards that year than this entire team in 2014 AND 2015 combined.

and it wasn't for lack of trying....in fact in the first half we tried over and over and over and over again...with zero success
