Standings
1. Memphis 8-2
1. So. Miss 8-2
3. Tulsa 8-3
4. UCF 7-4
5. Marshall 6-5
5. Rice 6-5
7. UAB 5-6
7. UTEP 5-6

USM and Memphis are almost locks now to finish in the Top 4 for CUSA 1st Round Bye.

Tulsa...which escaped disaster last night when Tulane took them into OT in Tulsa, sits in a good spot, but still has games at USM, at UAB, plus hosts Memphis. (Loss to Tulane would have helped a lot!)

UCF has 3 games vs 4 of the remaining teams (at Rice, UTEP & UAB at home), plus an obviously tough game at Memphis.

Rice, maybe the biggest surprise in CUSA this season, will be a critical game, as would the UTEP & UAB games...which might become tie-breaking deciding games.

That leaves probably 1 spot remaining for 4th and final CUSA Tourn Bye spot...with 5 teams still having a realistic shot.

Marshall has two more-than-likely losses remaining:

Marshall: @SMU, Hou, Memphis, @ECU, Southern Miss

UCF probably can drop one of the remaining 5 games and feel comfortable staying in 4th place.

Marshall gets both Memphis and Southern Miss at home...if Marshall ever plays as a team and to their potential, they could win both of those games.

Marshall lost 2 close games at Memphis and at Southern Miss...so getting them to Huntington just might do the trick.

Houston seems to have quit...SMU is pretty bad...and ECU on the road, hasn't put up much a challenge.

Hopefully, UCF can just win all of their remaining games...so scoreboard watching won't be needed.
