Here's a testament to show how much UCF and Dr. Hitt went to bat for Tacko Fall. A couple weeks ago, prior to the football game at Cincinnati, Dr. Hitt traveled to Indianapolis and personally met with NCAA President Mark Emmert to lobby for his eligibility.
Knowing that, it was amazing to me how the NCAA still continued to drag out the process.
It's unclear what led to the reversal today. I'm hearing from the UCF side that they were very surprised of the sudden decision this morning. Maybe they caved to the pressure or maybe Emmert finally said enough is enough, clear him.
