AAC Championship Game ended up doing ok (tough to go up against Wisconsin and Michigan State on network tv), as they blew away the almost unwatched Big East Championship Game...plus, drew a higher rating compared to the CBS Championship Games of MWC and A-10...and even finished higher than the Pac-12 Championship Game.

From Pony94 off SMU Board:

Big East Regular Season Games sometimes end up with zero ratings...as that conf went for the cash upfront, even though its really hurt their national exposure...and that loss of exposure may not show up for a few more years...but bottom line, it can't be good.

AAC went for exposure vs some more $$$ upfront and that was smart...as AAC was a brand new conf that no one ever heard or knew about (some still don't...hence why exposure is paramount) as even old Big East Hoop teams didn't get the same regular season exposure as the new teams that come up from CUSA.

This AAC exposure will continue to pay off down the line on the recruiting trail.
