After a few road upsets this weekend (ECU won at Memphis, USF won at Houston), here are the latest standings after this weekend's game:
SMU 7-1
Tulsa 5-2
Temple 5-2
UCF 4-2
UCONN 4-2
Cinci 5-3
Memphis 3-3
Houston 3-4
ECU 1-6
Tulane 1-7
USF 1-7
UCF hosts Memphis tomorrow, Tues at 7 pm...as UCF's team doesn't get back to Orlando till sometime today...as the 1 hour and 47 min game vs Tulsa is a 3 day road trip for UCF...one made longer after the team missed their connection in Dallas on Saturday and had to wait 3 hours for another flight to Tulsa...plus not being able to get a connection for a flight home on Sunday night.
Many AAC teams have enough $$$ in their hoop budget for charters (i.e. direct flights into/out of every city) with the ability to fly home immediately after every road game....and that's something UCF desperately needs as those teams with charter flights use that all the time on the recruiting trail...as that is what major programs do.
