Temple vs Navy conference final sounds boring

Sure the ratings will reflect that too

Not really, AAC championship game at Navy will get attention. Temple being close will guarantee a sell out. Navy will have back to back national televised games.

Navy hosting anyone would guarantee a sellout in their 34,000 seat stadium, even with just a week's notice...as Navy has never played for a conf championship...so I'm sure everyone up there would be pumped up for that game.

I believe that they have overflow lawn seating, maybe they get 40,000 in there. They had 38,225 for an Air Force game a few years ago.

The AAC/former Big East has had such turnover that few even associate football-only Navy as a member of our conference. I still don't think of Penn State and Nebraska as part of the Big Ten (although Saturday's white-out improbable win in Happy Valley went a long way).

ANYTHING can happen in college football, esp. the AAC. How many times have we seen huge favorites fall to cellar dwellers? Im confident that Temple will blow it with one of those 5 teams.
And yet with all these major upsets, there are still several mediocre undefeated teams remaining after the 8th week.

I think the best scenario is for Temple to lose another game and USF and UCF to win out until their match. That would be an epic rivalry game where the winner goes to the CCG. Would love for that to happen but our lack of defensive knowledge stands in our way.
