Sorry 80's. But I have to agree here. Old 'Leary left us in shambles with low-talent players and recruited them in place of the quality players we should've recruited after we WON the Fiesta Bowl. How exactly does a team finish top-10, win a BCS Bowl, and go on to recruit the bottom of the barrel rather than use that amazing success as a springboard? I'm grateful for our kids' service; but the recruiting failures lie squarely with the coach, especially in our case.

Losing 19 scholarships and dealing with severe on and off campus recruiting restrictions and limited official visits when your program is slashed by the insane actions from your former AD and his conspiring WR Coach can and did put your program in shambles.

Now that UCF is finally back to full recruiting priviledges and max official visits allowed, I think UCF's recruiting will certainly improve...but it will take time...as UCF can only sign a max of 25 players per year and obviously can't go over 85 total scholarships.
