After 20 years of heartbreak I'm finished!

If you weren't finished after last years fiasco you aren't finished after last night's heartbreaker. Who are you trying to fool? Last night was merely a sign of growing pains for a young coaching staff, and an undisciplined team with mostly freshman playmakers, and a horrific O-line. Give frosty some time to recruit his players and we'll be winning these kinds of games by 20+ points. Patience is a virtue, have a little.

If you quantitatively added up all the highs and lows this program's fan base has experienced, I think we can all agree that UCF fans have had to endure far more utterly painful defeats than most other fans. And this is coming from a Met fan.

Some people on here are preaching patience, but I've been hearing this as a fan for 20 years now. When we're still struggling 5 years from now, the same folks will have yet another excuse for why we need to be patient.

The pain just never stops as a Knight fan. With all that said though, I am excited to see what this team will do in the next few years...I'm just not holding my breathe.

I'm a METs fan as well. It's all part of being a fan. Most team's fans suffer a lot of pain, only to make the wait so much more worth it when we do win. It's still a great night of entertaining college football. How boring would it be if everyone was an Alabama fan? Look at the Cubs fans. It's been since like 1908, but they still have a great following

The entire first 20 years of my life as a UCF fan were composed of last minute disappointment and heartache. We were the kings of moral victories. I have witnessed the Temple game over and over again. This is just one of many. I think this is why UCF would be such a great addition to a P-5 conference. Our fans are here 30k strong in the worst of years. I can only imagine what we would have if we played in a P-5.

Oh, stop being little sissies. We won the freaking Fiesta Bowl just 3 years ago. We won the conference 2 years ago for the 2nd year in a row. Jeez, put your tiny violins down, put on your big boy pants and jump onboard the Frost train.
