When I first listened to the NASA fan apologizing for fan behavior I thought sellout , wuss, knee pad wearing nut hugger, all that. Then I started thinking and he was 100% correct. I have come around to George needing to step down this year as well. But that doesn't mean you have to be a disrespecful asshole . You don't have to be personally insulting . Call him out for his coaching or recruiting mistakes and why you think we are here at 0-6. But the childish disrespectful shit isn't necessary. Many got mad tonight because he didn't pull a Steve spurrier. It's not George's ****ing job to quit. It's his job to fight to get better and it's his personality to fight for his job to the end. It's what he loves to do and he hates the thought of giving it up. How you can hate on the guy for that kind of passion is beyond me. That same tenacity took us to the Fiesta Bowl trophy presentation. And on the way to the end here he isn't going to give a half assed effort coaching these kids, he's going to continue to teach and try to rally these kids , maybe teaching thes some lessons about digging down deep that will serve them well doesn't the road,, and help our next coach as well.
