That was a huge blow to Baylor and on the back of a pretty mediocre signing class.

They just didn't beat them. They beat them up. Air Force was much more physical. They wanted that win. Baylor must have called us about playing offense against a mostly "run" offense as well. Baylor kept trying to run the ball, even when they were down and trying to come back. It made no sense...it was a real-scratcher after a while.

UCF beat UF last year, but doesn't mean they would immediately compete in the SEC.

Air Force has won 4 straight bowl games, the last 3 against P5 teams.

Baylor is not a good team. And Air Force has been the best service academy for the past 5 years or so. They are 5-0 against P5 schools over that span too. Beat Louisville last year.

I think we were going to give up 35+ with Twill so maybe now the defense is a little moee motivated? Not likely we are limping in after peaking on Nov 12th. I hope we turn it around but definitely not expecting anything

NY6 was a big deal for Baylor. They hadn’t won such a game for 30+ years. Before their 2021 Sugar win they hadn’t won a major bowl since 1979.
