Alabama Sorority Video Taken Down

It offended the feminazis who can't hang, so they demanded it taken down.

I fap'd. But lemme get this straight ... its now improper for sororities to have hot, sexy girls dancing around? I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

Welcome to 2015, where transgender celebrities receive courage awards and hot sorority girls get scolded for making videos of them having fun while in college.

If only they had thrown Bruce Jenner into the video, they'd all be hailed as heroes.

Maybe if they just remade the video as lesbians...

And since there's predictable crying about there being too many white girls in the video, now is a good time to remind everyone that this picture from 2012 shows the Obama Chicago Campaign HQ:

Instead of attacking and blaming this is the best time to unite in our support for hot white sorority women.

This shit is hilarious. The original column, whether you agree with it or not, was a commentary on women's issues. Yes she threw in the blonde white girl references to paint a picture but that obviously wasn't the point.

"It's a parade of white girls and blonde hair dye, coordinated clothing, bikinis and daisy dukes, glitter and kisses, bouncing bodies, euphoric hand-holding and hugging, gratuitous booty shots, and matching aviator sunglasses. It's all so racially and aesthetically homogeneous and forced, so hyper-feminine, so reductive and objectifying, so Stepford Wives: College Edition. It's all so ... unempowering. "

I love how this is getting twisted in to an issue dominated by race when that's not what the fuss was about.

Dude, with due respect, let me quote Jamie Fox from Jarhead: F*ck. That. Shit.

Yea, the asshole writer took this up under the guise of "women's empowerment" but she knew EXACTLY what she was doing by throwing in the barb about this being a bunch of whitey girls. Do you really think that if this were an African American, or Hispanic sorority, we would have had the inclusion of "racially homogenous" in an article by this nitwit? No, of course not. But because it's a bunch of white girls dancing around, we have to hear about how goddamn white this video is and how it offends her poor sensitivities.

Everything about this sucks. This "writer" has put these girls in the unsuspecting spotlight all so she can....earn feminist credibility and stoke the flames? I really don't give a flying f*ck what feminist ideas she and her husband have about college sorority recruitment videos; she should shut her goddamn mouth and stop worrying about what's going on with college kids.

But yes, she absolutely threw in the racial component to get clicks and to make a name for herself. Afterall, a critique of these jerk face white girls wouldn't be complete without mentioning how white they are!

Not buying it. To quote her: I would say in the future women's issues are definitely something I think about quite a lot because I am a "feminazi libturd" according to some of these comments.

Read her interview. She's all about this female empowerment. People can choose to emphasize the racial component if they want, it's not the point I took away though. The discussion, if there needs to be one, is about how the girls are portrayed.

The girls are fine. Like I said, she should shut her goddamn mouth. They're college kids!

This is what drives me up a while with these self entitled left wing feminists. F*ck them, and f*ck their faux cause.

I saw the video a couple weeks ago and my biggest takeaways were:

1. I miss COLLEGE
2. I'm jealous of Kenyan Drake
3. The production value is ridiculous

Her little rant just seems par for the course when it comes to feminists. Theres always a racial quip.

You're a real special dude. You pick the one thread where I'm not spewing off about racists to get mad at me always talking about 'racist bogeymen'. Jesus.

Predictable? Rich coming from you. Go fuk yourself.
And I beg to differ. A video of a bunch of pretty white, blonde girls with little to no diversity at the University of Alabama. Call it what you want but that is the commentary I have heard.

Homogenous? Hardly. There's a black guy, an elephant and, like five brunettes.

This video was such an easy target it's hard to take the writer serious. It's fruit that is hanging as low as Donald Trump stories.

The writer was just looking for a reason to complain about how she believes women are subjugated by male rule. This video just opened the door to all her non sequitar grudges. Sorority girls having fun? Equal pay, reproductive rights, Bill Cosby. Donald Trump and sh!t.

The article wasn't racist. It was poorly argued and blindly reactionary, but not racist.

100% correct and here is your proof. A video from the same sorority, different university but looks very similar. Why no outrage there, is it because instead of the University of Alabama, its the University of Arizona? Or could it be that instead of a bunch of pretty white blond girls its a bunch of pretty brunette girls? Typical liberal BS, too freaking stupid to be consistent.

I'm confused...someone up North just figured out that there are hot women in many Southern Sororities?

UCF Tri Delta Recruitment Video

FSU Tri Delta Recruitment Video

Same is true for basically every Univ in the South.

America, where hot, rich, white girls are allowed to do whatever they want, as long as somebody else doesn't have a problem with it.

What is with the Ray Ban Aviator sunglasses? Need more sunglasses diversity, no Wayfarers, not one single pair of oakleys....

This. The first high profile video in this genre hit the main stream media years ago. It was an FSU Chi-O video and pretty much started the whole slutty half naked "recruitment" video trend. So the actual story of a bunch of self-centered white girls navel gazing each other to ultra music on video isn't even last year's news. Plus, the writer could have used Syracuse and Rutgers as well, but chose to go with U of A. It's an attack on things perceived as "Southern" and therefore racist and misogynistic. The fact that it has a few hot college girls in it is secondary, if for no other reason there are plenty of other videos, including videos of sororities at U of A, with more hot chicks doing more slutty things.

People like to make friends with those similar to themselves. Gamers make friends with gamers, sports fans with sports fans, etc. So why the big deal that pretty party girls make friends with other pretty party girls?

Btw, I do find it interesting that some posters are fans of sororities in this thread but not fans of fraternities in the thread in the Dungeon.

Yeah ... I mean UCF would never run an "eye-candy only" video ... like ... say ... showing aerials of our campus without talking academics or athletics. ;)
