This guy will completely revolutionize UCF football. He will bring the Oregon offense and install it here. . He will bring that Oregon style flash and brand style to UCF. Expect a complete re-branding of UCF football. New uniforms, new everything.

I love this hire. My biggest complaint against Babers was that he was 54 years old. I didn't want to go from a 70 year old to a 54 year old. Not the case with Frost, he's 40 and he brings an Oregon connection to Florida which is absolutely huge.

18 year old kids love Oregon. They love its branding and its flash. I think Frost will bring some of that to Orlando. Expect recruiting to be more in line with what we want, regardless if he has perfect Florida connections or not!

Your point is unsubstantiated. Had to post this more than once, because your statement is just not true.

Totally unrealistic expectation. UCF doesn't have the sponsor like Oregon does, who underwrites all the uniform costs.

Lol, i'm not expecting 70 different types of Jerseys. But a there will definitely be a change to the way they look.

He played at Nebraska. You'll be lucky if the helmet has more than "C" on it.

I heard to alleviate the question of bringing in donors Dr. Hitt has made the change from UCF Knights, to UCF Phil Knights. Lets see if it works! Go Nike!

If you are looking at it from a pure numbers standpoint of course it is. California is right next to them so that is where they will get most of their recruits. But they came in here a few years ago and got the Seabreeze QB to go out there. All i'm saying is, i'm not worried about his recruiting. His Oregon ties are enough to possibly excite kids right here because they know the style of offense he will bring to UCF.

No matter who came in here they would have some serious work to do on the recruiting trail. Frost will need some people to open doors for him for sure. He seems like a bright guy and knows that he will need to hire some local assistants.

He better keep Beckton and a couple former ucf players (fisher, smith). I like the idea of Godfrey recruiting south Florida. But, i reserve my judgement of him until he builds his staff.

Baylor style vs Oregon style do you really there's much of a difference? That said Baber's couldve put the stamp on UCF football post-GOL just like Art Briles is doing at Baylor.

I like the Frost hire though.

Frost has mentioned in interviews in the past that his ideal offense would incorporate an up tempo, spread similar to Oregon. But he would like to run more power plays from that same up tempo spread.

I don't think Oregon and Helfrich really wanted to stray from what they were doing. I would be surprised if he comes in and just 'installs Oregon's offense' because I think it will be different. There might be a fullback and some more option in the picture similar to what he ran as a QB at Nebraska...only more spread out and faster.

Pretty dang sure the offense will not be the pure Mariota/Adams Oregon offense if the QB's are any of the Holman/Harris/Schneider trio - the offense will be tailored to the talent available. I am assuming Frost didn't come into his interview with Danny White and oooooOOooOOo and aaaAAAaaAAaa him with ***OREGON THO AMIRITE*** - it will take a few years before you see the ultimate true view of the offense. Just ask Chad Morris at SMU, equally splashy as a hire as Herman at UH, but with an empty roster... sort of like... an 0-12 UCF team.

Oregon has but 10 recruits from Oregon so this is not a point of discussion. They have 27 from CA,however. There are 2
from FL and three from GA plus 22 other states spread fairly evenly.

Jesus, our guys couldn't block this year with long huddles. Putting them in a hurry up may kill them.

there are rumors(and who knows if it is bs) that Schiano has 24 hours to accept UCF, let it pass bc he is confident about his Miami interview. Dodged a bullet, he is a young GOL. Miami fans will hate him just like Golden if he's hired

Does he know Richt interviewed also? How confident could he be that he's getting that career-killer of a job?

Hate to rain on the parade, but people though Skip Holtz was a good hire.

Oregon offense will not work with the UCF players now, that's certain. So UCF will be in for some growing pains. IF he can get the players he needs, and a solid defense, then UCF will have a great team.

That's a big if, though.
