This is the 7th victory for the American versus the P5. When other teams in UCF's conference step, they beat P5 schools. Otherwise if the conference has to rely on UCF to keep up their perception, they let the commissioner down.

If my memory serves me correct, as part of the AAC we have 1.3 conference titles, a BCS bowl win, and another bowl loss to NC State.
Memphis has .3 conference titles and a bowl win over BYU.
Cincy has .3 conference titles and a bowl loss to VaTech.

Even of Memphis wins the AAC and wins a BCS game they'd only pull even with us. We haven;t been passed yet, and Memphis still has to "finish".

Looks like this year could erase all previous gains...like GOL stated he needs
to think hard at end of season if he really believes he can coach for another 4 or 5 years
for recruiting purposes.

With new AC/DC it will still take 3 years to get this thing headed back in
the right direction under GOL considering his approach to building his team.

We need a new HC, offensive minded.
