"UCF's offense struggled mightily. Granted, they did so against a Florida International defense that appears to be just as good as advertised, but they really struggled to run the ball, as well as keeping Justin Holman from getting lit up by the pass rush. In addition to that, George O'Leary and Brent Key lost their damn minds at game's end."

Can't believe a word from some crappy website. Everyone should know that the chance of a batted down pass is a very real possibility. Especially with a mobile QB on a roll out.

Irresponsible journalism at its finest.

No kidding, these guys don't understand how much emotion plays into games. Sure running the ball and getting stuffed for -4 yards is bad, but could you imagine if a ball got batted down, that would be demoralizing. Thankfully, I don't remember any batted balls in that game.

What? Are you crazy? It's almost as if you actually question the late game playcalling.

I will take a batted down pass for NO LOSS verses attempting the same run that failed over and over and over and over and over.....
You're obviously discounted a mental anguish a batted pass would incur. A fumble, a tackle for loss, even a pick-6 can be pushed out of our mind, but not a batted pass.... anything but a batted pass!!
