Saw the video. This one was bad. Total thug loser.

No. I'm saying that we need more thugs. The legal system will handle the off the field stuff.

SMH. So... all teams that have thugs win games?? Also.., that's the only reason that FSU wins????

I do not condone anybody hitting anybody, regardless of what sex they are...

... but nobody cares about the fact that she started trouble and hit him in the face first? He's an asshole for punching her, but what does that make her? Can any of you answer that question without the use of a double standard?

I agree, they should throw her off the football team too.

she hit him first...they both need to be arrested...but he being 19...shouldn't be drinking in a bar in the first place...and he was kicked off the team at least a week ago...Does anyone remember when JJ got arrested? I do and wanted him kicked off team immediately. Godfrey driving without a license...and goodwin grand theft...we have idiots too. Not winning Championships though.

Poor little baby QB, I bet he was afraid for his life- self defense. I guess he couldn't have just walked away and let the drunk broad hit somebody else. Yes she should be arrested.

Tho I'd be wiling to bet she'd get off because he restrained her before she tapped him. He started the contact.

That's not what happened. Get the facts straight. She DID NOT PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE.

She was the first agressor. Watch the video again and read witness accounts. She kicked him and punched him before he punched her. He's a piece of shit for hitting her, not because she's a woman, but because anybody that punches somebody else over space at a bar to pick up a drink is a piece of shit. But she is a piece of shit too for kicking and punching first and, according to witness accounts, shouting racial slurs at him.

If you watch the video...there werent any real witnesses...most people were oblivious to what was happening...The bartender had no idea anything happened. Its so loud in a club you would have to be 1 foot from them to hear anything...he is making up the racial slurs to help his case...and she kneed him and hit him first...over a drink.

I agree with the racial slurs thing. I don't put it past her, but I agree that it's somewhat of a he-said-she-said. I'm glad that you see that she hit him first. She could've handled this completely different, and so could he, but nobody wants to point that out.

And once again, this isn't me condoning hitting anyone, just stating facts on a video.

Once upon a time there was a college football team that thrived (despite the young age of the program) in part because of the policy of taking questionable players. They had seen how the kingdom to the south of them had succeeded by taking players of great talent but of questionable character. This new kingdom kept their players in the program by questionable academic means and the power of the great Coach King. Then one day the a strange reporter brought shame and disgrace upon the Coach King. The evil Queen dismissed the Coach King and banished him from the kingdom. The Queen then married a new Coach who was given the task of cleaning up the team and kingdom while still maintaining a favorable record. But the kingdom had been laid to waste because those questionable players were there because of the Great Coach King. Unknown to the new king, the kingdom was built on the basis of having those questionable players and without them the cupboard was bare.

All of The Queen's subjects still believed that the program was great and anticipated great things. Yet they did not know that their greatness was nothing but smoke and mirrors, and that their great castle was built by the Great Coach King on pillars of sand which had washed away with the tide. The new king of course could not fulfill both cleaning up the program and having continued success. So, after getting a wonderful new crown, the new coach was also banished by the Queen. The Queen married once again to a new king who rode to the kingdom in a bus expecting everyone to get on. But few people did and this king too struggled. By this time the Queen's subjects were tired. They began realize that their success had been a thin veneer, and that true success takes a long term commitment to a goal and requires discipline and patience. The new King has been working for years. There is no telling if the new foundation is being built on rock or sand.

The moral of this story is that there are few shortcuts in life that pay off in the long run. basing your success on players of questionable character is a big risk.

More like, don't hit somebody unless you understand that you will be hit back.

Dude..., If that's your way of thinking, then you are no better than the FSU quarterback. Keep thinking that way and try it out in a real life situation and see how far it gets you. Society doesn't look up to people in this day and age that hit women especially football players. In almost any circumstance you will come out the loser unless the woman had a weapon or something. That's just the way it is. Think how you want, but it's just not going to fly.

As far as these players are concerned, the consensus is that you don't need the headaches and want them as part of your program. You don't need them to win.

Todd McShay has reviewed this latest scouting tape. Says he's impressed with his live shoulder, quick release, and fast decision making. Needs to work on pocket awareness and keeping his eyes downfield.

Understand that I'm not condoning hitting women. I'm going to repeat myself saying that I DON'T CONDONE ANYBODY HITTING ANYBODY. I'm never going to "try it out in a real life situation" because I DO NOT CONDONE HITTING SOMEONE.

I don't make a case for either or, I think no matter what sex you are, you shouldn't have a "legal disadvantage" on the subject of physical aggresion. You say "that's just the way it is", I say fukc that line of thinking. Perhaps it's just me, but I find it a bit hypocritical and cynic the fact that, in the age of equality, a woman can hit a man with no repecussions. I find it even worse when said woman is the obvious aggresor and that fact is completely ignored due to the high profile of the other party involved.

The DA has already announced that he will not be charging the female in this incident.

If that twat slaps some other dumbass at a bar (which she most likely will) and then gets charged with something, then we all know what happened here.

No Cooks didn't involve any cameras and he's already saying it wasn't him...I think he's saying it was travis Rudolph instead.
