I know it's rare and I believe children should be vaccinated, HOWEVER, someone in my office just did almost die due to the flu vaccine. It's something that's one-in-a-million but she was basically in a coma for a few weeks.

That said I got the flu once and I almost wished I had died. Your chances of dying of the flu are several hundred orders of magnitude higher than your chances of dying from the vaccine I'm sure

Refusing to vaccinate your kids should be considered child abuse. 1 count for your own kid and 1 count for every kid your kid comes into contact with.

True. I've just been fortunate enough to not have caught a full blown case of the flu for several decades now.

I'm not sure if it was her first time or not.

I did get the Flu this year and it was HORRIBLE. I could imagine it being quite scary for someone not in their "prime". One of the worst I have ever felt.
