Anyone going to Spirit Splash tomorrow?

Looks like there will be a live stream. Wish they had this when I was a student. There was swimming in the reflecting pond, but it was strictly verboten and usually a late night drunken dare kind of thing. There also was the time that someone put a shark in the pond (it was dead of course).

I wonder if Danny White or Scott Frost will put any new twists into the fun?

it would be a great event to show recruits that are on OVs this weekend but I don't know if they get into town that early

Also, when did you guys attend UCF? I was there from 2010-2014 so i don't know what homecoming was like back in the day lol

I feel old. 2002 and 2010 here. Spirit Splash was just as cool back then.

I attended 03-07 for undergrad and 09-11 for grad. It was nuts then, just like it's nuts now. I actually never got into the water in my 6 total years at UCF. Call me chicken but folks were getting sick left and right from that water. I wanted no parts of that, but had fun watching and hitting on cute girls with my friends!

Same here. '03-'07. I never got in either. I think I put my feet in is all. It was funny to see how crystal clear the water was at the beginning and then turn into a cesspool afterwards. Always a condom floating around here or there too.

I just graduated so a lot of my friends are still in school here, so I'll be there. Came back for the weekend, so definitely made sure I made time to see spirit splash again. Excited to see Frost there too!

I've never gotten in the water either!!......but dag gummit...there's nothin that says an old alum can't get in that pond!!!!!!
