Not really really true. She didnt fight off amazon, she just wasnt with government kickbacks. Amazon is the wealthiest company in the world, it is absurd they created a bidding war among cities for to bring jobs to their city, she was 100% right on that point. ANd now, Amazon is coming anyway (with fewer jobs though), without the tax payers having to pay them. Secondly, and I think what most people miss with this, is that Amazon wasnt just going to hire people who lived in her district. A large portion of those jobs were going to be filled by people werent located in her district, but of course that many jobs with that paygrade would have done a really quick job gentrifying the area and making it unaffordable for a lot of people who do live there. These types of issues arent as simple as just "she cost her constituents jobs".
