Heh way to go, Aresco...

I don't really think it's a battle for the G5 spot (PAC12 v American) since 5 & 6 are so far away from 4 at this point. But it would be in the interest of the PAC12 to poach at least the two best American teams (probably the two best mid/west teams like Tulane and Memphis) to make it to 8 schools and survive as a conference. Didn't really see that happening but good for them...bad for the MWC and probably the AAC. Aresco, you're on the clock...go drag down your conference again.

Continue consolidation of conferences is not good for anyone outside of SEC/Big10. Assuming Big12 or ACC is forever safe is as delusional as PAC12 saying they had nothing to worry about. SEC/Big10 are not growing their conferences with marquee schools to allow for other conferences to have an easier road to the playoffs.

Pretty sure Aresco retired though. Don’t know who the new Commissioner is, don’t care either. AAC def on the clock though.
