Agree. Get at least two years! TT
Of course, if the transfer wins the job, then the more years they have left, the higher the chances that existing QBs on the roster will transfer. A one and done who wins the job doesn't tend to cause a mass exodus of your other QBs.

I agree with your point that it's nice to have two or more years remaining, (assuming that he will stay with us for those years, which is a big assumption). But there are trade offs here.
