This is bad. Defense is atrocious. Offense is busy finding itself in Eastern Europe. UCF is no closer finding the next KZ/Boat than the Rockies are to finding pitching…with that said, we are not that far off. We have really solid pieces on the board and historic recruiting classes coming in. It’s easy as a fan to trash Gus and sensationalize the Frost/Heupel years but we’re close. The UCF fan base is one of the most entitled obnoxious fan bases in sports due to our 2017/2018 success but also one of the most passionate. This is obviously a bust of a year, I fell for the KJ bravado just like most of you, but we need to have faith in Gus and UCF to figure this out. Otherwise we’re back to ground 0 with a new coach and “moral victory” losses. Go Knights, Charge On, and even though we’re looking down the double barrel shotgun of a 3-9 season, we need to roll with the punches and continue to keep the bounce house electric.
