It seems like if George Floyd's family received 27 million dollars, Ashli Babbitts family should get at least double that. Both were in the process of committing a crime, but one was given a warning and time to straighten up their act while the other was given no warning before being shot in the face. Ashli Babbitt was never given the opportunity to surrender, never given the opportunity to comply with an officers commands, and never given the chance to tell her side of the story. She was flat out murdered by a police officer because he made a judgment call. I'd say 100 million dollars is probably reasonable.

I realize you're trolling but the outmanned Capitol officer who shot her as she climbed through a broken window that she and her fellow insurrectionists had just busted was responsible for protecting our U.S. Senators who were just one floor above.

Fact is, those rioters she was with might have invaded the Senate Chamber if another Capitol police officer had not deliberately provoked them into following him in the opposite direction instead.

She was unarmed. Hands up, don't shoot.

Yet if she had broken through a window in your home and you shot her (unarmed or not), you'd tell me that you were justified in doing so, correct?
not if she had been jogging sometime in the area before breaking in lmao

I'm not a police officer. They should be held to a higher standard.

Her family should get nothing, that is also true of George Floyd's family. They both chose to be where they were, and do what they were doing. You don't want to be treated like a criminal, try not acting like one.
