Man, all the rumors have to start and come from somewhere. Where there’s smoke there’s fire as they say…will really suck if he transfers out and it will give me the same Shaq/Dwight Howard feeling in my heart. I don’t think we’ve ever had that happen at UCF, star player transfers to bigger program? If he’s the first, he’ll go from one of my top 5 UCF players to hoping he fails and gets beaten out. Say it ain’t so DG, say it ain’t so.
seriously if he transfers I don’t think it will end like KZ who isn’t the same physically . Would be brutal to watch him throw TDs for another Program

For what? A losing year? You must not know he can’t lift heavy weights and his arm strength is sus. He’s not ready to be an FBS QB yet.
I hate to say it but I think he’s gone. I hope I’m wrong but he wasn’t dressed out and he seemed somewhat detached. Wasn’t really part of the coaching during defensive series and never interacted with the coaching staff. It seems like he may have already checked out.
I’d like to see him interviewed, preferably post game to see how he answers questions. How he answers and his body language would be telling.

Whether he stays or goes and I hope he stays, this team has proven that they can win without a DG type QB. Therefore, their greatest need at this point of time since we have a good QB recruit coming in is: 1) Highest recruitable field goal kicker! AND 2) Highest STUD RB(s?) you can get. We can work with all the rest of the talent on the roster and those being recruited 
FYI: DG majored in precise long ball passes and rocket passes to the sidelines. I'd like to see someone who has had a collarbone broken say that 8-10 weeks after a broken collarbone they could throw 50-60 yards down the field precisely.
Lastly, look how things worked out for KZ at FSU. DG might want to stay at least one more season.

I guess we will know over the next couple of weeks early signing is December 15. I would assume he would submit before then. I hope he stays there is no reason for him NOT to be QB1 next year. I don't think he would be QB1 at Tennessee over Hooker, so the rumor of Heupel grabbing him won't happen.
he would start over Hooker but him going to a new place the room for error or another injury is slim. look at what happened with Georgia and JT Daniels who transferred from Southern Cal . UCF he would be the face of the Program going into 22 and guaranteed starter
JT Daniels is a perfect example of how you can transfer to a “bigger” program as a projected starter and end up a backup. I would hope he stays, he’s never shown anything but love to UCF. It would feel like a scumbag move to transfer, unlike JT Daniels was at USC, DG is the sure fire starter and face of our team.
yeah JT Daniels got hurt at USC then the freshman tore it up , transfers to Georgia gets a minor injury and loses his job to the Georgia good ole boy Bennet . That is not the case at UCF with Keene obviously
In the post press conference, Guz was real short/frank on the DG response "He was sick and didn't play" -didn't sound positive, annoyed tone.
May be in the minority but I'm good if DG leaves. Either allow Keene a game or two next year to see if he's drastically improved and if not, start Castellanos, give him a solid yr of experience before we enter B12. DG just gives us one more yr/two yrs max, and one of those years (2022) is a not that important/practice for B12. Might as well build up a solid young core for B12/UF game.

I don’t think this is on Gus. He was doing well within his system. Someone else got in his ear and guaranteed this is NIL related.
Have you seen the offense? DG playing to put up monster numbers and climb draft boards. Not throw tunnel screens to Ryan O’Keefe.
Concur on this it's not like he is coming off an injury to an unknown situation. Kz and Dg were comparable Qbs. Unless major strides are made by Keene before next season DG would still be starter.
It is what it is. He’s all about DG. I don’t wish him failure, but I certainly don’t wish him well. He walked out on his team and his fans.
They're just kids and there is always more going on than we know. If he leaves, I'll appreciate his contributions.
It’s not NIL related. He wanted Lebby to be HC and it didn’t happen. He’s going where Lebby is and right now that’s Ole Miss.
The transfer portal has really opened up options for the players, while this is a hit the portal is going to continue to bring talent to UCF.
Gus system allowed DG to put up numbers just the same, with higher efficiency and more than 2 route options. His stats and efficiency were great before he got hurt.

Let’s hope it’s a good QB now. We don’t have one. The 2 guys Gus brought in are terrible and Keene obviously isn’t great. I’m not big on Castellanos passing either.
Not concerned with Castellanos passing game. Just very concerned if we have to start another true Freshman in 2022
