UCF's Kemal Ishmael led Falcons with 10 tackles, 4 solo, in knocking off previously unbeaten Denver. Ishmael, a standout tackler and shutdown defender was picked in the final round of the 2013 draft. Made the team, but in his rookie year had one tackle. Given a chance to play in 2014, he had 98 tackles (68 solos), 4 INTs (including a 23 yd return for a TD). Still, he was made a backup in 2015, and only had 46 tackles (plus an 84 yd INT return). Back playing regularly this year, he had 15 tackles including 13 solo against Oakland in their first win. Atlanta, 2 games ahead in their division) given no chance this season, is 4-1 (four straight wins). Only Minnesota has a better record.
