He still has 4 years left on his contract….after this season is over. These people are ridiculous. I guess they didn’t learn from paying Gus like 20 million to coach somewhere else. They would have to pay Harsin over 20 million if they fired him now. Are these schools being bankrolled by Congress where they just print money anytime they want to? Rhetorical…No. Such bad choices. I guess this is why the last guy was fired and they only have an interim AD at the moment.

In Auburn's defense, it must pay fair market value for the head coach, and the head coach must have a multi-year contract to assure recruits he will be there while they are there.

However....

Auburn DESERVES to get its azz kicked for firing Gus Malzahn (and gets it kicked now with regularity.) Auburn also DESERVES the embarrassment Bryan Harsin brought to the program with his gypsy family (I will leave it that.)

I watched the majority of Auburn vs Ole Miss game yesterday. Harsin got outcoached. Ole Miss is a fun team to watch.
