It's not the profile of the league, it's not the academic profile of the conference members, heck it's not the foot[ball]...Memphis doesn't have hardly anything going for it...no fanbase, they've got no football tradition, they were good in football for two years, and the QB and the coach that made that possible, well one's in the NFL and one's in Blacksburg. So there's nothing to get excited about Memphis, they don't even have their own stadium, it's not who you want in your conference. If they do get in, it's because somebody wrote them a check and they said "we're going to go out of business anyway, let's just take as much money as we can get now."
