Surprised vegas says bama are underdawgs 2.5 points. 8pm.

Bashing this game is appropiate as well. I'll be entertained by the game and all the ESPN drooling of how superior the SEC is.

But, whatever. I'm pulling for Georgia, but hoping for a good game rather than the SEC champ game which was a Bama blow out boring game.

And, just remember, last time UCF played both these teams...We Won.

I just turned the tv on to watch ESPN coverage. 'Gameday'. ITS AN SEC SLOBFEST...they have fired disgraced gator coach Mullen on it. Holy cow...SEC this SEC that......what a charade...

Georgia will win guaranteed. This is payment for losing by a large margin in the SEC championship to guarantee 1) both SEC teams were in playoffs and 2) so Georgia didn't play Alabama in the first round.

Georgia gave up 40 something to Alabama while giving up an average of 10 per game this season?

Alabama only put up 20 something vs Cincinnati. You're telling me Cinci's defense is better than Georgia?

Get out of here, they gifted a win to Alabama. Georgia is the best team in the country.

will watch at least half of it since it is a dead tv night w only a few nba games of teams I’m not interested in

but I am not excited . College Football has a way of making the end mostly a dud. Hopefully it turns into a good game.

seems like everyone is picking Georgia but I got Bama again. QB makes all the difference at the highest level

I think Alabama will win again. I don’t think Georgia’s QB is good enough and he gets fooled easily by coverage disguises.

Already watched the match-up once don't care for a repeat. As much as I love college football I'll pass

I know we give Gus crap for his play calling but this game is screaming for some misdirection gadget plays right now

Is it just me or does it seem like successful 2 point conversions happen like 20% of the time. In a low scoring game like this, take the free point and go up 6. Hope Georgia kicks 2 fgs to win.

I'm a pepper, would you like to be a pepper, too ?

Georgia does.

I didn't watch the game, but judging by Georgia's defensive effort. I guess they were not motivated in the divisional championship game since the committee already gave them a pass to the playoffs. Just confirms how messed up the system is.

maybe @PhDee conspiracy theory was right that Georgia threw the conference championship game . Their defense went back to looking like it has every other game
Thanks for the shout-out. I don't ever try to spread lies or conspiracies but I just find it extremely odd how horrible Georgia played in the conference game relative to how well they played all year, just doesn't add up to me.

Its funny to think a team that has lost 6 straight games to a team including a national championship game and two SEC championship games prior would throw a game because of their conference and they are so confident they will win a national championship after not winning one for 40 years.

I don't think it's a conspiracy. These are college kids and one thing you can count on, is typically they show up and lay an egg every now and then (some a lot more than that), or one team just played really well. That's just the nature of the college game. Still, it's no excuse. If you can't get up for a conference title game, then that's on you.

Let's not forget that Bama's offense was very limited by the loss of their top two WRs. In the SEC title game:
1) Metchie - 6 Catches for 97 yards and a TD
2) Williams - 7 catches for 184 yards and 2 TDs
This also allowed for Bama to have an effective running game as well.

Williams was injured in the first/early 2nd quarter (I think). He had 4 catches for 65 yards at that point. The passing game to WRs was anemic after that, which also means the defense could do a better job bottling-up the run game. I mean, it's funny and sad at the same time. I like nothing more than Bama losing but objectively, this was really a rebuilding year for them, and barring two major pieces of their team missing, they were still one of the best teams in the country. I'd like to be at the point that this is rebuilding for us, but unlikely that ever happens. They are a robotic machine for getting the very top-tier talent, and developing it.
