I'm kinda curious where all the hate for Barry Odom in here is coming from?
I understand that he is not the popular hire or catchy name like Kotelnicki or Frost, but he still has a really good resume. I also am not sure how many people in here have actually listened to him speak, know much about his philosophy, or even him as a person.
He's a year younger than Frost and only 5 years older than Kotelnicki.
He doesn't seem to have much baggage (that has been discussed).
He has a really good history of hiring OC's - Josh Heupel, Derek Dooley, Bobby Petrino, Brennan Marion
Even if Brennan doesn't come with him to UCF, he has shown the ability to identify good coordinators.
He's a tough, defensive minded Head Coach that has done a really good job improving the UNLV program.
I get finding him boring, I don't get threatening pitchforks if he's hired.
Curious if anyone can give any actual insight as to why he worries them? The one legitimate knock I see is that he didn't have great recruiting classes at Missouri.
