As more and more years pass me by, I have gotten a little denser ( it couldn’t be the bourbon), so can somebody explain which voodoo doll I need to be sticking tonight and why?!?
Doesn't matter? 🤷♂️
If we win out then we're in the CCG regardless, but what if Tulane beats us tomorrow?
ECU wins = they have 2 conference losses same as us but hold the head-to-head tie breaker.
Cincy wins = they still have only 1 conference loss and we now have 2, so they go to CCG.
ECU still has to play Houston and Cincy still has to play Tulane, so there is another possible loss for either. Which is more likely?
Yes since both would beat Tulane giving them 2 losses while Cincy and UCF would only have 1.If Cincy wins out and UCF wins out, the two will meet again in the title game, correct? If so, I am pulling for ECU. It is hard to beat a great team twice.
Well, they did have a ton of inside information…allegedlyCinci lucky on that last play.
One positive note I will say about ecu is their coach. Has done a decent job and was very impressive on his analysis of UCF during his press conference leading up to the game. He sounded really knowledgeable on most of our guys, almost as if he was a coach on our team.
If multiple teams are tied it goes to rankings. Not head to head.Cincy winning was definitely better for us. ECU wins and we lose today, and we're stuck in a quagmire of 2 loss teams, including one that has a win over us. Now if we lose, all it takes is Tulane beating Cincy. (which isn't a sure thing by any means I realize) and we should be set-up to be in the conference championship game at Tulane. If ECU won you'd need them to lose to Houston, and then who has the tiebreaker with us and Houston? I'm not sure, it definitely becomes more complicated.
If the tiebreaker is teams with 2 AAC conference losses, pretty sure none of those teams will be ranked. If multiple teams are tied it goes to rankings. Not head to head.
Computer composite rankings. Not the top 25 bias rankings. If the tiebreaker is teams with 2 AAC conference losses, pretty sure none of those teams will be ranked.
