Beer sales on rise during college football games, but UCF slow to join movement

Looks like 2 of UCF's away opponents sell beer. Cincinnati and Tulane. I'm assuming Stanford and South Carolina don't. Does anyone know for sure?

Also..., UCF- Stanford tickets were $20.
Not complaining, but that seems a bit low. Wonder where they are sitting us.

Good for UCF. while other schools chase $$$ only, UCF still looks out for students.

Actually, UCF is making strides in that area with 2 big "new" moves starting this year:

1) New East Side Club will add approx 900 seats in new preferred sections at mid-field on the East Side Stands that will have access to alcohol and premium concession items.

Opening up this new premium area where alcohol is available was a key selling point...and this club would lose much of its value if beer sales were opened stadium wide.

2) UCF changed a dumb rule that will now allow those in the West Side Club (and the new East Side Club) that will allow them to bring beer to their seats. Previously, those in the West Side Club could only consume alcohol inside the club.

I hope UCF makes that same change for those in Club Seating at the UCF/CFE ARena for Men's Hoops.

I drink too much before games and for way less than what is normally sold at sporting events. No need to buy $10 beer at the stadium.
