I found UCFSports.com when I was looking for info regarding our new logos and stadium construction updates. Back then I didn't read the forums and wasn't a dungeon member. Tulane's stadium and the other thread got me thinking about our very own BHNS. Who designed it and why did we settle for such a plain look. I assume money was the factor. Looking at Yulman stadium, it cost 15 million more than ours, 7 years later, but has greater visual appeal even though it is smaller. I don't know the cost of what FAU did, but again, much better looking than what we have. Smu also did a lot with a little. I know those are all smaller capacities but let's face it, we haven't needed all of our seats very often. I guess my question is, could we have made some design tweaks, possibly lose a few seats, and have a visually more appealing venue- or was that not an option? What was the process and who was involved? Did we just take whatever was the cheapest that gave us the most seats?
