Biden ain’t well.

I think that is just more from his speech impairment issues. OBviously he is old and probably not as quick as he used to be, but I dont see a guy who still struggles with a studder having a hard time getting that word out as anything super bad. In saying that, I hope he doesnt run in 24 because obviously it doesnt come across well.

I’m not super comfortable with Biden making decisions right now in these times. Especially his rhetoric and responses about the Ukraine/Russia conflict

Lesson to be learned. Stop electing presidents in their 70’s or well into their 70’s by the time of the end of their 1st or second term. We all saw this coming. Just compare the energy of a JFK or the president of Ukraine.

No world leader is like this. None

Probably not as quick as he used to be? There's an understatement. I'm in my 70's, have plenty of friends in my age group and when this guy opens his mouth it's obvious that he needs to be put to bed early. If it wasn't for his meds, he would be incoherent. He wouldn't even be invited to our night time card games. And this was obvious when he was the candidate. Add to it his family's obvious influence peddling and, in my age group, he's probably the last guy who should be President. Yet some of you voted for him? Talk about your showing disrespect for the office of President of the United States of America. Not to mention your ignorance.

Disrespect to America? The last guy's people stormed the capitol to over throw and election, so spare me the lecture on disprespecting America.

Please...I'm talking about facts, you're talking about fiction. Stormed the capitol? No the Russians are storming Ukraine right now...those people on Jan 6th didn't storm anything. So spare me your talking points and give me your opinion when you start thinking for yourself.

Right, just a normal tourist visit or something, thanks for clarifying, obviously I shouldnt believe things I see with my own eyes.

Yikes. Found the traitor to the Constitution.

I'd like to think that in a country of 330 million people, we could find better choices than two diaper-shitting 80-year olds. And yes,. that includes Trump. They have no business running the greatest country on the planet.

Two things we don't do enough of in this country is fat shaming and old people shaming. These obese, face-stuffing beached whales and stupid old people who no longer recognize the difference between the gas and brake pedals are real problems.
I don’t think we need to go as far as shaming but we certainly need to cycle these people out of leadership before they start reeking of mothballs.

It isn't a speech issue, he has brain damage from 2 major brain bleeds. He has DEMENTIA, he doesn't know where he is 1/2 the time. His handler's have been hiding how bad he is since early during the election. As he slowly gets worse you just can't hide it any longer.

Old people shaming? Wrong...every great civilization has respected its elders. But choose who you vote for and age should be a consideration. I'm in my 70's, lift every day and guarantee I'm as sharp as you are with a hell of a lot more experience. In fact, maybe I should start shaming young aholes who think old people should be shamed.

Put them all on an iceberg and let them drift out to sea. That's what the Eskimos do when the old fukcs wear out their welcome and serve no further purpose to the kin folk.

I guarantee you aren't as sharp as I am. For one, you are older and we've established what's wrong with old people. For two, my IQ is higher.

And you might have more experience but it's old experience. We live in the present. Try it sometime.

🤣 😂,

After you already proved three posts back that you are either:

1) literally brain dead
2) in an actual cult and a traitor to this nation
3) Both

God I love this board, the amount of free entertainment is unsurpassed.

Right...your IQ is higher than mine and you know this how? Your IQ might be higher than Joe's but not mine. And "old experience"? That just confirms your IQ is underwater. Just be thankful that, with our "old experience", we're handing you a country that is as strong and powerful as it is. The strongest in the world. Don't fukc it up.

I can tell through your brilliant posts that yours is around 97. You might have been useful once but the '80s are over.

And you boomers, with your pensions and retiring at the age of 55 have done more harm to the economic fabric of this country than we could possibly imagine. Congrats. But lemme guess:

20 years ago we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope, and no Jobs!!!

In short, thanks for nothing. Now, go back to soaking your feet in epsom salt and your busy day of Dallas re-runs.

Look I am not against old people and everyone ages differently. There are some 85 and 90 year olds are who still very sharp, and some 60 year olds who have started to decline. But I will push back that you are handing us a country that is strong and powerful. A lot of the problems in this country are because of your generation. WE are living in a country where even basic needs like healthcare and housing are becoming more and more unobtainable for more and more people, where college tuition is through the roof, where wages havent kept up with inflation for decades, where we have climate disasters on a frequent basis, income inequality keeps growing, etc etc. And it wasnt 20, 30, or even 40 year olds who have caused this, it was your generation that caused this.

When I graduated HS we were getting drafted. And they had a lottery where even if you were in college you could get drafted. There's nothing like artillery fire all around when you're 19. When we got back we worked for 10K/yr (if we were lucky) when mortgage rates were double digits and the cost of living was worse than today. Check the inflation rate from 1973-81. Health Care was not as comprehensive as it is today and was expensive (for minimal coverage). But I didn't feel sorry for myself nor should you. I was thankful that I lived in the greatest country in the world. And so should you (because of my and previous generations). Be thankful for where you live and help to make it better. There is no better place in the world. And to that other poster who called me a traitor to the constitution for stating my opinion, go read the constitution starting with the First Amendment. And remember, it's your generation who wants to change it, not mine.

Are there tangible things that make the US the “greatest country”? Have you visited all the other countries? What aspect of the US is the greatest? And before you shout “freedom”, consider that this is an intelligence test.

We are #1 at locking people up by an insane amount.

Suck it world, US is #1 in freedom!

Every generation has one or two things they can point to as being bad things. My grandparents (your parents I assume) had WW2, you had Vietnam, my age group had 9/11 and the wars following that. Vietnam was a stupid war of choice, but it doesnt make your generation special, almost every generation has their issues along those lines going back to the founding of this country.

Health care is still expensive and most insurance plans suck. You can pay monthly premiums for 2 decades then have to have a major surgery, and still end up with 10s of thousands in medical bills. Medical bills are the largest cause of bankruptcy in this country, so yeah, your generation doesnt win the hardship award for medical costs.

Housing costs arent what they were when you were young, I am sorry they just arent. Housing costs have changed drastically just since I have been a working adult. A recent grad who just got their first job making 50-70 a year type of thing, could very well end up paying over $20k a year just to rent an apartment now a days.

Under what metric is America the greatest country in the world today? If you are going to take credit for making us the greatest country, then you have to provide actual metrics that show that. And I mean actual metrics, not just some talking points.

Incarceration rate per capita, number of fighter jets, cost of medical services per capita. Did I miss anything?
Obesity rate & # of idiots with room temperature IQs but with access to sports message boards trying to say Jan 6 was just a tour of the Capitol.

We also lead the world in drug and alcohol illness and deaths per capita.

And many of those drug issues are drugs that are legally prescribed because we have created a healthcare system where pharmaceutical ads basically encourage us to treat our doctors as glorified drug dealers.

Incarceration rate per capita, number of fighter jets, cost of medical services per capita. Did I miss anything?

We are 3rd in college tuition, so even trying to do the right things and prepare for a future can be a major financial setback for people.

We are also one of the worst with regards to paid time off. Nothing says freedom like having to work for the bottom line of large corporations and rarely getting to kick back and relax.

Dude, you read like the "How to spark a Marxist revolution for Dummies" playbook. We live in a global marketplace with global production. All of the western cultures have been ceding marketspace and power to places like China where they don't care about PTO. You can't endlessly handicap your cost of production and not lose in a competitive market. Buy American only goes so far.

You also cannot argue about the growing expense of goods and services and then also complain about wage stagnation and PTO. That's exactly like AOC pushing $15/hr minimum wage legislation and then bitching about the cost of scones at the bakery. Because there becomes a cliff where the American product that you've applied all of these costs to through regulation and legislation can no longer compete with the foreign product unburdened by such. At that point, you've just destroyed the worker you've sworn to help and eventually they're going to see through your "blame the rich guy for being greedy" diversions.

The would make sense if we had a 15 an hour min wage, but since we dont and goods still rise (and not just now with the current inflation which is a world wide issue due to covid), then it is kind of a pointless post. Sorry, it isnt AOC's fault.

PTO has nothing to do what so ever with China. China is due to cheap labor and a the largest population in the world. If you dont like what China is doing, then why in the world would you advocate that our society looks more like them by treating our workers like shit? Do you want to us to bring all those jobs back from China by making American's work for Chinese type wages (about $1.66 an hour for average workers)? I am seriously asking that because I find bringing up China in a discussion about American workers being an odd point of view. If we are truly the greatest country in the world then we should be the leaders of the world with these issues, not have pushback because China treats their people like crap.

Really? have you watched him over the last year, being told to wave, turning away from everyone and waving or reaching to shake a hand that isn't there, wandering off lost, being told when and where he can answer questions, the blank stare on his face, being lost when something semi big happens around him. You are either lying to yourself, or have never been around people who are slowly going downhill. I had 3 grandparents live into their 90's who had dementia towards the end, it is very clear that he has it.

What dumbass inbred moron is whining about AOC in a time like this?

It's beyond hilarious that idiots still blame AOC for record inflation, when we don't even have the min wages or PTO that they were screaming would cause inflation.

Tl;Dr trump cultists are morons.

Let's be honest, the reason we elected Joe Biden as President is because the majority of voting Americans were scared sh*tless about Trump staying in office. My God, just imagine the clusterfcuk in eastern Europe right now if Trump was 'leading' the NATO response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine!!!

For all his flaws (and there are many), Biden was thought to be the only candidate guaranteed to beat Trump and get his fat corrupt butt out of the WH. That's why we're having this discussion right now.

And the only way Joe gets reelected is if Trump is able to bully the GOP into nominating him for President again in 2024.

You can watch other speeches over the last decade and see true cognitive decline . It's not his studder. My dad passed away in 2015 and he suffered from dementia in the last few years of his life. Biden's speech and his look reminds me a lot of my dad in the last year or two of his life. I think it's a sad state of affairs when the media won't broach this topic at all. His decline is happening before our eyes and we are supposed to ignore it. Politics aside, Joe Biden is in mental decline and it is sad to see . He is losing his mental and physical vigor.

It's my opinion if Trump was in office , Putin wouldn't be in Ukraine. Putin moved onto Crimea and that other place under Obama / Biden. He didn't move anywhere under Trump and just months into Biden he invades Ukraine. I find your premise to be false.

We might take you a little more seriously if you weren't posting drunken responses:

"And that other place." Which one is that? Over them thar hills???

"Just months into Biden." He's been in office over a year.

I find your drinking to be a problem.
