I think you are incorrect. I think he is not an idiot but suffers from progressing dementia. He is losing his cognitive faculties. He is suffering from mental illness . That's different than being an idiot.
I normally don't compare our nation to others . However France did outlaw drop boxes and mail in voting back in 1975 as their system was being ruined by corruption. I truly don't understand why anyone wouldn't want secure elections? It's 2022 and ID cards are free. You need an Id for everything from buying mature video games , liquor ,cigs, and welfare benefits. Having voter ID , signature verification and allowing outside groups to watch the process builds confidence and trust into the system. Who is against that?
Having legal iD. To vote doesn't prevent a single legal vote from being casted . It doesn't stop any legal activity from happening. It does however put the brakes on fraud and deception. It actually would spot light fraud . Right now everything is so Losey goosey that fraud is difficult to detect and prosecute .

Couldn't have come on a worse day either. Russia, China, and Iran announced that they are going to start naval exercises together yesterday morning.
Well we did announce that we have a submarine patrolling the Mediterranean yesterday, and it has missiles with a 1,500 mile range.
I give it a couple of days before Russia announces that they have subs patrolling our eastern seaboard.
It's weird to say it, but I do think we would be better off with Kamala in charge.
