I think when you are actually leading and making the trains run on time, these misnomers are over looked. When you are failing to get the country back and continue to lie about it, that's a different matter.
It’s easy to make the trains look like they are on time when you wait for them to get to the station and then you tell everyone when they are going to arrive. Setting self-proclaimed aggressive goals for vaccine production that have already been surpassed well before you set the goal and then doing the same with your first goal for school reopening is not successfully leading.
But come on, are you honestly going to tell us that the 4 years of the media playing hardball with Trump and then an instant softball approach with Biden has to do with anything other than rank partisanship?
Look politicians lie, we all know it. Politics is about spin. I'm an engineer and I struggle with not being completely factual and technically correct. Biden is going to promote his efforts and apparently it's working. I have more confidence in this administration with regard to getting us out of this pandemic than the previous. They do have the benefit of hindsight but I think it's more than that. Professionals are back in charge.
Trump lied on a totally different level. He lied when the truth was a better answer. He lied when everyone knew he was lying. He lied for ego sake vs political.
Rank partisanship is ignoring Trump's bs the past 4 years but NOW suddenly acting like Biden isn't successfully leading.

If your idea of success is killing thousands of jobs ,having gas prices ibxrase now 60 cents a gallon and having milk prices go up 40 cents a gallon, then yah he is successful. lol. I own two espresso bars and since Dementia Joe has signed executive orders killing pipelines fuel costs and milk costs have escalated significantly. Not saying there is a direct correlation but it's there. Guess why he killed the pipeline? his buddy warran buffet owns all the railroad operations that transport petroleum. Thus railroad versus pipeline crap has been going on since Rockefeller and Vanderbilt / Carnegie . Same old same old back room bull crap .
I’m glad you aren’t saying there is a direct correlation, because there isn’t. Fuel costs have little to do with who is president. Energy costs for all types trend down over time. The fuel costs plummeted in Trumps final year because nobody was using fuel during a global pandemic. Before that they had increased a pretty good deal ($2.25 in 2016 to $2.81 in 2019). Now the cost will rise again as the pandemic winds down and demand for fuel increases.

In normal times where a President isn't issuing executive orders directly affecting the future supply of oil, the President has little effect on gas prices. However, when the President decides to issue an executive order to instantly stop all exploration on federal lands, it can have a significant effect on the prices of crude oil, which is one of the major drivers of the price of gasoline and a lot of other goods in our marketplace. POTUS can also use our geopolitical position to negotiate with or force oil-producing countries to behave in ways that will stabilize the price or move it based upon intended goal.
Gas prices are rising because of speculation. It’s the Texas freeze and Biden. The president IS AFFECTING GAS PRICES and guess what? When gas prices go up, so do products that need transportation like Milk. What else? Airline prices. As soon as he became president, they went up and will continue to do so. As it does, his approval rating will drop

The Hill's Rising Krystal and Saager are about the only domestic video media I'll watch -- and they pull in other, independent thinkers, with smaller or more written platforms as well. And Krystal -- who is a registered Democrat and a clear Liberal -- has been absolutely hammering the US Media for not only refusing to call Biden out, but nuking anyone who is.
