Billionaires' wealth rises to $10.2 trillion amid COVID crisis

There are opportunities. People with money are in a better position to take advantage of them.

I have a theory about this, but I think we will see major recessions every 10 years in our lifetime because they create such great opportunities to become richer.

What happens when you want to close things down and only the large online players get bigger killing the small guy even more.

You think google, amazon, wayfair, etc are not thrilled with the restrictions and shutdowns?
Yeah its why video games have caps and restrictions. Unfortunately, since Reagan, All presidents have lifted restrictions on Corporations. Trump has doubled growth in these Monopolies. Instead of adding restrictions. The game is becoming unplayable. We control this game. We must stop this abuse before its too late.

10 year recession intervals are pretty much how the free market has always worked. The difference, starting in 1981 is that the government started bailing out failed businesses and industries instead of allowing the market to correct itself.

Sure but with longer recessions. Usually they are around 18 months but I think they will last 3-5years followed by 5-7 years of boom.

Rich people keep doing the things that made them rich and poor people keep doing the things that keep them poor. And people in between envy the rich and pity the poor.

Not regularly. I could see, and have been predicting a 3 year recession starting early next year, but a lot of that is based on the boomer generation aging out of the population. I dont see a long term deflationary period after that though, in fact quite the opposite.
