After watching about 90 percent of all the post scrimmage player and coach interviews on youtube, I am convinced we are running the table this year and beating Bama in the National Championship Game...

Yeah, especially this year we need to concentrate on going 1-0 each weekI will meet you part way. We won't finish 8th but we could be playing for it all in Jerry's World . I don't think we will be but I won't be shocked if we do. If we beat K State it will really open some eyes . We still have to play game 1 .
We should be able to handle Kent Read, Kent Write, Kent State just fine, not sure there is much wow factor there*I will meet you part way. I've gotta admit....I might have my Black & Gold goggles on too tight right now too CF Dave, but I’m really liking Hinshaw so far. I will be the first to admit I was wrong in my thought that it was a proxy OC hire if what everyone has been saying is true and he is calling plays pushing the ball down field. If he really has QB whispered JRP into settling down and working through progressions, sky is the limit.
I admit I wanted a younger, hipper coach who could relate more with the players for fresh ideas and recruiting purposes, but I’m digging Hinshaw so far. I also agree with Poolside, Boise will be a really telling game. I’ve seen media outlets picking them as the G5 NY6 bowl pick, lot of hype around them. Would love to see some scrimmage footage.
Thinking how well your goggles look with your aluminum foil hatI think a lot of people have last year in mind and only remember the negative. Being that some of you are negative nancies it is understandable. JRP was hurt half way with shoulder and hamstring injuries the 2nd half of the season. Keep in mind we did travel to Tulane and beat them at their place not long after they beat Big 12 champion Kansas State (in Kansas).
In my opinion, this season we are a better team overall. JRP will be better. I think we will be very competitive in the new look Big12.
It will be challenging for sure, however, reading some of your eeyore replies kill me. I'm overall a happy-go-lucky and positive person and refuse to lower myself to the lower common denominator of a loser mentality.
Go watch the youtube vids of the interviews of the players and coaches. I'm hearing good things and until JRP throws his first interception or fumbles and loses a game due to it...
I GOT MY BLACK-n-GOLD GOGGLES ON TIGHT!
Go Knights!
My thoughts as well. His 1st presser soured me quick, but he now seems in control and confident which makes me feel better about the offense as a whole. Time will tell.I've gotta admit....
During Hinshaw's first or 2nd press conferences, he looked like a deer in headlights, talkin' about Jesus and really just using a lot of words without saying anything. I stated so on here.
I got around to listening to him recently and it's like Knight and day. He actually sounds like a coach, not that he wasn't before, but who sounds confident and has settled back into his home. He says things (sorry CMZ)! Loved when he said in the past JRP would make a play and no one knew what he was doing. According to him, now JRP is actually working the reads/OF as planned.
There rarely is an 'easy' Navy win.Thinking how well your goggles look with your aluminum foil hat
Playing a P5 game in and game out is going to wear us down and test our depth on defense…..and frankly no one is talking about our depth at LB and who will be lining up for us in the secondary.
There isn’t an easy win ECU or Navy in the conference schedule this year.
I’m in the 6-6, 7-5 club assuming we win all the OOC games. Can we do better, yes. We better have backup QBs ready to play though.
